The Lundgren family. Johan Ludvig Lundgren came to Stongfjorden from Sweden and was employed at A/S Stangfjorden Elektrokemiske Fabriker as a foreman. He married Sofia Sørensdotter Klovet from Førde, Sogn og Fjordane. They had 10 children together. The Lundgrens left Stongfjorden in 1921.

Workers at A/S Stangfjord Elektrokemiske Fabriker ca 1908. You had to be at least 18 years old to get a job at the factory, but sometimes the management allowed boys as young as 17 to work at the factory if their families were having financial difficulties and needed the income.

Description: While the Clintons and Gores watch, Chelsea Clinton rings a replica of the Liberty Bell during festivities kicking off the Clinton/Gore 1993 Inaugural events. At the stroke of 6 p.m., Clinton and Gore grasped the red rope attached to the bell and led the nation in a bell ringing ceremony. Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea, kept up he ringing long after her father let go of the rope.
